See What is Happening at The Rising!

  Hey Rising Church, I hope this email finds you well! As we step into a new season at The Rising Church at Lincoya Hills, there’s so much to be excited about. God is moving in incredible ways, and we believe He has great things in store for our church family. We’d love for you to be part of this exciting journey! There are two key areas we’re inviting you to get involved:
  1. Serve with Us: Whether it’s welcoming new guests, working with children, helping behind the scenes, or using your unique gifts in other areas, there’s a place for you to serve. Serving is a great way to build relationships, grow spiritually, and be part of what God is doing in our community. Well, hello, sir. I wasn’t expecting a phone call. All right, sounds good, Sir. Thanks so much. Thank you. Hello, Mr Babadi. This week I have done a 3rd member here at the North Carolina Association. I’m just reading out because today is different. You’re gonna need to do that. We’re inviting friends like this to actually apply the extension there.
  2. Join a Disciple Group: We’re passionate about discipleship, and there’s no better way to grow deeper in your faith than in a Disciple Group. These small groups are where real life happens—connecting with others, sharing, praying, and diving deeper into God’s Word together. We truly believe that discipleship changes lives, and we want you to experience that transformation. For more info on D-Groups visit HERE
This is such a powerful time to come together as a church, and we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunities ahead! This Sunday – We need your HELP!!!! Our new speakers and lights are going to be installed next week in the sanctuary, and we need help moving pews so the lift can maneuver around to install the new A/V. If you could stay an extra 20-30 min after service to help we would greatly appreciate it! September 29 – Discover US – This one hour session is designed for you to experience the heart behind The Rising and why we exist. Come find out about the story, values, mission and vision of The Rising. This session is a great place to help determine if The Rising will be a good church home for you! We will provide lunch right after church and have childcare available. Sign up HERE

OUTWARD FOCUSED OPPORTUNITIES

September 20 – We will be hosting the Donelson YMCA’s Advisory Board retreat at the church! September 27 – We will be feeding the McGavock High School Football team for their pregame meal in our fellowship hall. October 3 – We will be feeding the McGavock High School Football team for their pregame meal in our fellowship hall. November 3 – Mark your calendars for this year’s Harvest Fest. We will have food, inflatables, coffee, Photo Booth and much more. This is a great event to invite the community!
